During the 2014 Auto Show Brussels, BMW presented the new 2015 BMW M3 and M4 as an European premiere for the audience. BMW M GmbH has once again delivered a high performance sedan and coupe version of the highly praised M series cars with a 5th generation BMW M3 and the new coupe with the M4 badge.
The M3 and M4 now comes with an high-revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology producing a maximum output of 431 hp and 550 Newton metres., an increase of by roughly 40% compared to the previous models.
The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 4.1 seconds (with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission) for both the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe. BMW claims that fuel consumption and emissions has been reduced by a 25%.
